Leverage

Leverage for the brake is the driver's leg controlling the brake pedal. The brake pedal is connected by rods and levers to the power booster. The driver controls with there leg pushing down on the brake pedal making it slow don or make it to a complete stop. The driver can control on how fast he wants to slow down. For example pressing down really hard will make it to a hard complete stop. But if the driver pushes it down slowly the car will come to a stop slowly. So the leverage of the brake is the pressure of the driver's leg pushing down at the brake pedal.
This is the brake power booster. The brake pedal is connected by rods
and levers to the power booster.
